The New York Times app for iOS and Android has launched a new tool for users to login and read ebooks from the NYT website.
Users of the NYT iOS app can download the iOS app for free and then sign in using their Google account or an Amazon account to access the NYT app.
The NYT app, which allows users to access news articles, is a key part of the Times’ efforts to create a single interface for its digital content.
Users can then view articles, watch videos, search for information and browse the website.
The Times has long made it easy for people to access its digital media, but this new tool makes it easy to sign up for the app.
Users who are already using the NYT apps on Android can log in with their Google credentials.
But anyone who is not already a Times subscriber can also sign up with their Amazon account or a Yahoo account.
The New York Post, which publishes the New York Daily News, also is making the switch.
The NYT app is free for users on the Post’s mobile app and it also has the option to subscribe for $9.99 per month.
The switch is an example of the efforts the Times is making to grow its digital presence, which was once dominated by print.
The Times also has a print subscription service, but the NYT has been slowly embracing digital, even as print subscribers have been shrinking.
