NHL fans get to see the game live for the first time

NHL fans have the chance to see their team play at the outdoor rink in downtown Winnipeg, and they’ll be able to see some of the action in the first NHL outdoor game ever.

The Jets and the Red Wings will play Thursday at 3 p.m.

ET on CBC, CBC Sports Network and the NHL Network, and the game will air on CBC Sports Net and NHL Network Plus, the league announced Tuesday.

Tickets for Thursday’s game will go on sale Tuesday.

The Red Wings are playing the Jets at MTS Centre in Winnipeg on Wednesday.

The NHL’s official website has a live blog of the Jets vs. Red Wings game, including the lineup, home schedule, TV and radio coverage and more.

Tickets to watch the game are available at the Winnipeg Jets website.

The league has also added some extra special events to the schedule to help fans see the action.
